Pre LCI G30 Heated Steering Wheel Coding
I've gone thru a few other threads and kinda stuck on making this work.
I have ACC, Lane Assist, LDW, etc. So I should be able to just code this to make it work. I've installed the steering wheel, but the heat button doesn't light up nor does it work. I used E-sys and input 248 into the VO code and then coded the following ECUs (Please bear with me as this is basically the 2nd time I'm using E-sys). 1. BDC_Body2 2. DKombi2 3. Hu_NBT2 I see the heated steering wheel option in the climate control functions and when I put the setting high enough, it will activate and notify me that heated steering wheel is activated in the instrument cluster. It's just that the actual heating doesn't work. As a side note, when I took it for a test drive, the blind spot warning gave a malfunction notice. As for the steering wheel and the donor car. It had ACC, LDW, Lane assist etc. Just like my car. I checked the VIN and its options. Also, if I code 248 into the VO, shouldn't it show up when I go back into e-sys? Any help would be appreciated. |

Sweet! I have a pre-LCI 2020. Does anybody know if it's possible to retrofit a lighted button for heating the steering wheel? One of my biggest complaints with the car is that the only way to tell if the steering wheel heat is active is by pushing the button and seeing whether the message says it's turning on or turning off.
