6wb retrofit update

Hey guys, so I retrofit a 6wb to my g30, then I put the old 6wa back to upgrade the system with dealer, after that, how do I upgrade the 6wb since it only have older cafd, do I change my car’s build day to get that newer cafd or how do it upgrade it? Thank you

You will need Esys and you can change VO of car to remove 6WA and add 6Wb should be straight forward to do drop me a pm if you get stuck

I’m try to update that 6wb’s software, I understand vo coding, but since now my car’s I- lever is higher with “new” features, So I want to update the 6wb to get that same new feature

I recently did a cluster swap in my bmw g30 ... i had a analog cluster and changed it to 6wa. everything is working fine, except for navigation and mode button not showing media. is it possible to program this or do I have do upgrade my nav to proffesional?

Which car you have, might need change the build day

That’s weird, but did you change your vo and code the hu and kombi ?

I had it done at a workshop and they said and need to upgrade the whole nav unit ... which is not cheap
