Before getting my current G30 I was toying with the idea of getting an old classic as my daily.

In my mind I would still remember the 'good ole days' of being able to fix anything with just a spanner and a screw driver, or a little bit of fuel in the carby to get it started.

Then I went for a test drive in an old Mustang and reality came back to me:

Wind-up (and down) windows, no power steering (meaning 2 full turns of the wheel to turn), no aircon (refer to wind-up windows), pull-out choke to start (remember those), AM radio, drum brakes, fuel additive, etc, etc .....

One of the best things with my Bimmer is the ability to just hook up my laptop and fire up ISTA to tell me what is wrong, and how to fix it, of hook up my phone with BimmerCode or BimmerLink to change any number of options in the car.
