Yes. Our high pressure fuel pump can handle E50 . That's on a custom tune though. I think originally we were told we could use E30 daily, but my tuner got me up to E50 "Safely".

I was in a $3,000 winner take all race at the track today. You had to run a 10.6 or faster. I made it to the semifinal but I ran a 10.55 and the other guy ran at 10.62, so I was disqualified. He got the jump on the light, so I couldn't let off the gas cuz he was a bumper ahead of me. If I had won, it would have been me against a modified M5 comp for the three grand payout.

Anywho this is my best run so far, but I had to let off the gas so I didn't go faster than 10.6.

This would have been a 10.4 ish run.

1.5's - 60 ft on street tires thanks to xhp launching in second gear!

DA was 2500.

I've also heard that we can run up to E30 with our stock fuel system. Since you're running a 2021, did you get a Femto unlock to allow a custom tune?

Yeah I had been running E30 since I got the car January 4th 2021.

Yes I had mine unlocked right when the Ukraine war started. Femto moved to Finland, but couldn't accept parcel from anywhere outside the European Union. So I had to commission somebody in Germany to receive the ecus and then ship them to Finland and vice versa to get them back.

Now I believe femto can receive parcel from the United States.

I’m going to head back to the strip soon with some front end grip.

I discovered, by accident when parked at the shops and I had the wheels fully turned right that the insides of my pilot sport 4s are delaminating. Tread tearing off and huge cracks all around the inside even though the inner wear marker is still ok. I’ll put that down to being lowered, but the alignment was close to factory so it shouldn’t be as bad as it was.

I suspect the 5 runs on a prepped surface did the bulk of the damage. Lucky I’ve not had a blow out on them, that would not have been fun.

I’ll put up some photos as you’d never know without looking.

New continental sport contact 7 tyres next week. Check them out in this review if you are still thinking Michelin.

choppedliver I'm glad you found this! Could it explain your problem with lack of traction? Good luck with the Contis and I look forward to seeing your results!

Thanks. It definitely has to affect traction. The launch on the way home on normal roads it spun as much as when it’s wet. I put it down to the cold but the tyres are shot.

When you see the photos (tomorow) it’s hard to believe they didn’t blow out.

More googling shows pilot sport 5 is 20% cheaper in Australia vs Contact 7 and they last 15% longer. They are number 2 in the review so maybe I’ll get them.

Oh mate glad you spotted the problem before it caused a real issue. What kind of pressure were you running?

Thanks

Pressure is 39psi which is standard I think.

New Pilot Sport 5 tyres this week. Can't get any Conti's anyway.

Yes. I would run map 1 if you got stock down pipes though.

Wow, definitely got luck on your side not having those blow up while driving. Those things are absolutely wrecked.

Wow those look dry rotted. Did those come on the car or did you buy a set of used rims with those tires mounted?

I bought them new 18 months ago after a bubble in the sidewall of one of the RFTs at 1500kms. Was during Covid so perhaps they were old already. Got 26K out of them.

The camber (not adjustable) when lowered means it chews the insides out vs the inside. I think the final straw was 5 launches on a prepped surface.

Next time I'll be checking them more often as they start to wear. We put in a little more toe in to try and combat the camber and wear.

I could get different control arms but they costs at least as much as a pair of tyres so why bother.

Car seems to hook better so some xHP stage 3 testing coming up.

Is it dangerous to run map2 on stock downpipes? Or not recommended

I don't know if I would call it dangerous. You have to run data logs and watch your fuel trims. You have to remember the JB4 is a boost controller, it doesn't add more fuel.

First 10.4 First 2.73

Project n 63
No 4-5 gearing yet so don’t mind the trap. Working development for launching and testing developmental software. We almost have the channels done for the up top power dme side. . Once we have it done we will offer it. I am personally offering custom xHP setups to help those get off the line better and trap better with current setups. We are xHP dealers and bootmod3 dealers. Stay tuned will be releasing the 9 second capable n63 r soon. Yes she is stock and we are not running meth. The car is nowhere near its limits. We will show why and how to manage the torque better down low and keep the power band up top.

Hey bud-

If you're going to start marketing and selling a product combo with tune and TCU tune, I would suggest a website that people can go to.

Also people are going to ask for the following:

- Dyno graph. This is imperative to see the horsepower, torque and how the tourqe comes on
- Custom tune or ots
- what downpipes are you running.
- What octane fuel
- What high pressure fuel pump do you have.
- what size upgraded turbos (hybrid?)do you have.
- Stock block or upgraded pistons and rods.
- 60 to 130 times.
- Datalogs to make people feel at ease.

Right now it looks like running a completely stock 456 horsepower 2018 car on 93 octane with the stage one tune with xhp. Most people with a 2018 would agree that that would get you a mid 11 second car. low 11s and negative DA.

All this will really make for a transparent product. You don't want to run into what Noelle performance ran into on the M5 boards.
