Your gauges go from 160 to 210mph. It's a very nice function and animation that is visually cool with colors it uses. You'll see after you code it

I have a 530e and have coded the Alpina dash.
Pros: beautiful blue dash; constant Tach no matter which mode I am in. Cons: time no longer is analog and very dim; I lose the battery gauge (but it still shows the number of miles remaining). When in auto mode, I usually use one of my memory buttons to bring up on the IDrive display the engine use display (which motor is being used to move the car and/or run the batteries). It would be nice if there were a toggle but there is not. So far, for me, the pros outshine the cons so I have been retaining the Alpina dash. If I were a hypermiler, the answer might be different but I am at the opposite extreme; I bought a BMW to enjoy driving so I don't worry about mpg (except...to an extent...as a measure of how green I am driving). |
