Mix spark plugs brands?

So I ordered some new spark plugs for my B58 540i: https://www.fcpeuro.com/pro…/bmw-set...gs-12120040552 However, they sent me (4) NGK plugs and (2) Champion plugs. Is it ok to mix the two?

Why are you replacing plugs on a 2018 G30?

Why not? Haha, I'm right about at 50K. BMW recommends changing at 60K, but since I'm running BM3, I might as well since they're cheap enough. In any case, I've picked up two more NGK plugs to replace the two Champions. The consensus seems to be that NGK > Champion.

To be fair, I purchased the car back in September 2019 as a CPO with around 41K miles already on the clock. The previous owner drove a lot between cities (he owned his own personal business) and thus racked up a ton of highway miles. The car is in pristine shape for the mileage. I have driven almost 9K miles already in the past 4-5 months or so. I've gone on so many road trips, just because I want an excuse to drive her!

Is this the part # for the NGK plugs you purchased? Also make sure you gap it correctly.

SILZKGR8B8S

Dumb for that online vendor to ship you different brands when ordering a set for one engine.

Yeah, it's that one (NGK 94201). It seems like the original OE for the B58 engine was Champion as NGK didn't have a proper plug then. But now that NGK has a proper B58 plug, it seems that BMW is dual sourcing them? Either that or they switched to NGK and there's a lot of leftover stock of Champion plugs. I called a few dealers around me and it seems like most of them only carry the NGK plugs with a few carrying both NGK and Champion. Thus, I think BMW has indeed switch OEs to NGK from Champion. In any case, I bought two NGKs to replace the two Champions.
