Apple CarPlay issues

Got my G30 on 30.03. Since day one Apple car play seemed to be working fine till until two days ago. It just wouldn't connect. So I let it be after being ina shop came back and it connected.

Today however it just refuses to connect. I suppose it has to do with iOS 10.3.1 update??

It could be. There are also a few BMW software/firmware updates in April and May.

Where can I find those updates? I took my car in for service and all they did was disconnect and reconnect my iphone.

Dealership will not flash program vehicle unless they can document fault (BMW reimburses for service) or you pay them directly.

If you escalate issue or keep going back, then dealership may program for you.

Alternatively, you can download from various sources, but requires external programming PSU to do yourself.
