It’s great. Had no issues installing. Simple plug and play. Still looks brand new, no fading even in the Texas heat.

As mentioned, my diffuser is a ebay knockoff and still looks new. 4 inch tips fill the opening perfect. This diffuser fits like a glove and n easy install.

Looks good, I'll keep an eye out for you. Easy to spot.
You may have to keep an eye out for a while haha. I WFH and drive the car like twice a week.

Sam_M550i Did you use a reference or a guide on placement of the tips? As in how far to push them in/stick out

Does the car sound significantly more throaty now?

Did the shop help you out for placement?
Shop did it all. I provided the tips and showed the shop pics of how the Dinan tips look installed and he said he can match it but he said he have it more flush and I agreed. I trusted his idea and it came out perfect.

Not my flavor but looks like quality chinesium. The welds came out good too.

If I do anything to my exhaust, I will keep my original tips but I'm happy with just dps so far.

Each to their own. What is it that you aren't a fan of, quad tips or these particular tips?

Quad tips in general, I like the way the oem tips flow with the original bumper.

If I was to change the exhaust on my car, I would ensure that it retains the original tips. Personally, I'm a fan of the oem+ look.

Ultimately, it comes down to what the owner likes.

It really does come down to what you like. For me, there is a reason why real ///M cars get the double round bad boy pipes. It's a look I love. When BMW went to trapezoids built into the bumper, it just resonates as Lexus to me.

Not gonna lie, I moved to a Dinan exhaust 99% for the look and 1% for the sound.

I also swappethe tips for looks only. For sound I did an X pipe. I think the aggressive looks of quad tips, specifically 4 inch straight cut reallsuits the car. I am going for the OEM+ look.

Anyone know of any shops in SoCal that quad tips on a M550? The shop that did my resonator delete wouldn’t do it. Not enough space they said.

SoCal is a pretty wide net....San Diego? Riverside? Los Angeles? Santa Barbara? I would go to a few shops and look at the cars they work on...if they do higher end cars, they would probably do it. Just because one shop doesn't do it...I would bet another one would.

There definitely is enough space, they just aren't skilled enough. Try other shops, for sure you can find a shop with skilled workers.
