New to me 540d xDrive - Brakes & Rims Questions

Happy owner of an '18 540d. It has the MSports package and MSports Suspension - 33K on the clock.

Car has 20" LA 759 rims and run-flat tires which are nearly worn out. I want to sell the 20" rims and get 19" rims for more profile. I am also going to get non run-flats.

Question #1: Anyone know if the LA V-Spoke 759 is available in 19" staggered? If so, where might I find them. I have a like new 20" set I'll be selling. If you can recommend another style in 19", I would appreciate that.

Question #2: How do I know if I have the MBrakes? They are not painted and I don't see any indication they are M on the build sheet - is that how I can tell?

Question #3: Front brake pads need replacing soon. Pretty severe wobble / pulsating when stopping from over 60 MPH - my hunch is the rotors need replacing too.

Are the front rotors 1 piece or 2 pieces per side and where would you recommend I source them? I am fairly handy and have done brakes on my other cars including my 335d. Is this a pretty straight forward job?

Appreciate your advice.

Hey!

759s do not come in a 19” staggered configuration, unless you can find aftermarket replicas. If you want a similar style OEM wheel the 664 style 19” would be your best bet.

The M performance brakes can be recognized by the blue paint and M logo on them for that model year.

The front rotors are a one piece rotor per side.

Welcome to the D club! I highly recommend GR Supra wheels. They are forged, light-weight, and dirt cheap to buy used. I picked up my set, almost brand new for $750 from a guy that replaced them within 30 days of buying a brand new Supra.

Beautiful wheels. 19"? The simply bolt on - no spacers or any other accommodations?

Thanks maDjzo - my brakes are not M sport

Good news on the rotors - I've been getting mixed answers.

I'll check out the 664's too.

Appreciate the help.

No worries, I too had slight pulsating during braking. Installed Zimmerman rotors along with EBC Yellows for the front. Already have Zimmerman rotors on the rear. I would 100% recommend them.

Yep, direct bolt on without any issues. The wheels are staggered, I’m running a square set of tires due to what was available in store at the time.
