Surround view G30 M550i 2018

In Norway it`s not possible to use the surroundview when the car is parked (BMW Connected) due to regulations.
Is it possible to go around this and make it work ? Tips anyone ?

Make me a favor and complain like crazy. Same per every nordic country as far as I know, thanks to BMW Nordic Group. I live in Finland and it is disabled.

I'm having trouble understanding the reasoning behind Nordic regulatory authorities precluding the use of such a useful option.

Perhaps the vehicles could be recoded to take advantage of this function.

I remember reading about this years ago when a guy got some huge fine for using a dashcam whilst holidaying. Something about the legal definition of "surveillance' if I recall correctly, plus privacy implications. There's several countries in the EU where you just can't have recording camera systems without prior official approval (i.e. linked to a purpose and a site). Nuts IMHO, but what do you do ... there's crazy laws all over the world.
