Consumer Reports has Cayenne as most reliable and 718 as least reliable Porsches.

Electrical issues are scary with these cars IMO. They are so complicated these days, it seems the chances of everything working right 5 or 10 years down the road is slim to none. One day, the rear half of my BMW decided to just not work at all, rear computer had just randomly crashed, nothing behind the front seats would work. Had to get the computer re-flashed and so on, but it really opened my eyes up, car only about a year old and it just decides out of nowhere to stop working. What happens years down the road? They are making some incredibly high-performing cars these days, but I doubt the engineering is for long-term reliability is keeping pace...

Unreliable cars

I agree with you....cars are sooO filled with technology junk that just makes them more prone to breaking down. My best BMW I had was a 2006 325i E90, no navigation...the technology it had was the Bluetooth, stereo and onboard computer. It was a bliss to drive, hydraulic steering, normally aspirated engine, 180k miles! little to no issues. Sad I sold it....

JESM.
