Exclamation 2019 5 Series armrest heater

The other day, I accidentally hit a "button" and activated the armrest heater on my 2019 G30 (530i). There was an indicator light on the dashboard. When I shut down, I could not find this feature again. I cannot find ANY mention of this anywhere in the manual or even online. Was this a random "glitch" or am I missing something? I would truly appreciate having this function, although it is not mentioned anywhere. Thanks all!

Did the armrest actually heat up?

I wasn’t aware if this feature as an option or standard on the G30 in any MY.

I didn't even notice - I was too distracted by the dash light... LOL. Of course, since I could not recreate it, I don't know. I wish I had taken a photo of the dash light. It was clearly representative of the armrest heat, tho...

The armrest heater button is right next to the factory nitrous oxide button.

Given that you can't reproduce it, can't remember it and didn't feel the armrest actually heat up...maybe it was a dream? Seriously, there is not feature like that on the G30.

Don't worry, I didn't imagine it. It does show up on other models/pictures I have found, but in lieu of asking my dealer, I am hoping that I get a pointer from someone other than undeserved sarcasm. Not surprised tho...

I'm just being a wise ass and trying to inject some humor. No offense. I hope this is an actual BMW Easter egg and you find it for all of us.

Could’ve been an odd software glitch. The x5 and up can get heated armrests as can the 7 series, but should not be possible on any g30 afaik, not even the alpina.

Pretty sure the 7 has heated arm rests on the door cards.

I have tried a few different methods to coax the "armrest heater" dash light to come on, to no effect... Must have been a glitch...

I want this to be true... but I don't think so. I have examined feature codes on my window sticker and VIN decode info. Have never seen heated armrests being listed. Following this thread to become enlightened if someone discovers it .
