G30 Trunk Won’t Open
Surprised I could find the answer with a quick search. But the trunk on my 2018 540i will not open. No click or sound of any kind, even though I have power and the car starts/runs fine. Neither key fob nor drivers door button nor squeezing the actual handle will release it. Any ideas how to open it? I’m stumped.

If I remember correctly, there is a switch in the glove compartment that will "lock" the trunk so it can't be opened by key fob or trunk latch, ie Valet switch. This has to be unlocked to get the trunk to open otherwise. I don't know if thats the issue however.
