Use vinyl tools to pry up. Try to pry near the clips. The clips are two pieces. One slides in the trim and the other pushes into the body. If you are careful you won't break any, but the last time I changed mine up on my E39, I ordered a bag just in case. Find the part number on realoem.com and order some plastic fasteners.

You will be able to feel the pressure points as you slowly pry. If you have a full set of vinyl tools, wedge one in and leave it, then use the another to pop up the pressure points. I don't have pictures, but if you look on realoem.com, you can easily see where the clips are. Go slow and take your time.

The metal part of the trim beds easily, so dont go mad, but it takes a mere few seconds to take one off.
I have just done all 4 as I wanted to put PPF underneath it and down. I do wish they would make them cover the whole sill / parts that get scuffed by shoes - heels. |
