I recently scanned the car using BimmerLink. It showed an error code for the Transfer Case

021924 Flexray, external cause (group error)

Has anyone else had this or seen this before? I've searched online but could only find a G20 owner who had the same error. I did reaxg out to them but no response or info on why it came up or what the fix is.

I did clear the error to see if it came back... it didn't. Just curious as to what would of triggered it in the first place.

In the summer months I run a set of BBS alloys with non runflat Michelin PS4S tyre's. In the winter months, I run OEM 759i's on runflat Goodyear Assymetric 3 tyre's.

In August 2022, I did have a puncture and I changed one of the front tyres (driver side) to a non run flat Goodyear that I had lying around to get me by. The passenger side still had a MPS4S tyre with around 2mm less than the Goodyear tyre. Would this have played a part?

same error comes for my 2018xDrive, no issues with drivetrain .interestingly - it does not show on dealer’s scan tool

Read the codes while checking the dpf status of my g31 530d xdrive via Bimmertool. This error code (along with 440211) came up. Wouldn't even know about it if didn't do the scan, but still, any idea what it is?

This does not show on the dealer computer but shows on bimmerlink. Car drives without any issue.

I get this code with Bimmerlink as well, but not MHD. If it is not present with ISTA, I think it's safe to ignore. It isn't even listed in bmwfault.codes

Since I posted this, I haven't had it appear again when I've rescanned the car
