Yeah, they really went out of their way and I did a whole ton of research / asking questions and these guys really knew what they were doing and put me at ease . We spent about a day on the Dyno and he kept revising . It's all In tune !!!.
That's awesome!

What brand downpipes do you have?
Armytrix and exhaust is Armytrix as well.
Nice! Can't wait for some videos for how it sounds and maybe some pulls

Mspired, other than tune and exhaust what else have you uprgaded? Stock fuel pump and injectors? What about tires? Is it worth it to look at drag radials if I end up tracking it. Based on my experience with a 4th gen fbody with an LT1 engine, there were so many more variables to look at after breaking into the 11s or even thinking about 10s.

I am completely stock besides tune/down pipes and exhaust. Stock fuel pumps/injectors. I am on snow tires currently and I would assume with better tires and a better launch it would be a 10.6X car. Which I have a run on dragy unofficially though because of the slope of the run. Although I am surprised somebody hasn't come out with a decent set of intakes for this platform that don't throw codes on a tune, it would definitely be a power adder.

Obviously there must be significant differences when you compare factory horsepower ratings but what's so different about the M5's 4.4L that makes it impossible for the M550i 4.4L to equal it with the usual tuning of both? Well, I guess the turbos are different as are the factory tunes but what else?

What fuel are you running for the 10 second runs??

My M550 with the RK Tune is only Stage 1 and running 91 octane fuel... and I produced a 3.5 second 0-60. Might be able to get to a 3.3 with better tires (running Michelin all season now).

What happens if I get the e85 tune from them, but then I'm only able to get 91 octane?? I travel with the car long distances sometimes, and don't want to be stuck looking for 93 or e85 fuel while driving 85mph on the freeway. LOL

Lol that's exactly my problem with flash. I'm on the bootmod3 beta which can flash maps in under 2 minutes. Will be trying out e30 maps, and I shall post results

Well , in that case you should be tuned primarily on 91 as your daily tune. And the e85 tune , should be your secondary tune in that event it will be for the days you can source e85 readily .

So if you do a E85 tune, you have the option to run E85 mix or 93 by itself but not 91?

Hey I recently ordered RK tune as well. I am wondering what does ur "Stage 1" mean? Like you don't have a downpipes in your car? Is the HP lower for your car since you are on stage 1(Just tune, no dp)? Also how long did it take for RK to send you your file? I have been waiting for 5 business days...
