What preceded they greyed out navigation? What caused it?

So that’s the tricky part. The car was bought used from a BMW dealer 2 months ago. And it’s been grey ever since. When it was purchased the salesperson told me that it was just missing a disc for the Nav, which is wrong because these models don’t use discs for Nav, I now understand (2010). The previous owner was an older lady so I doubt she attempted to code the car or change the head unit, unless the dealer did something like that.

The last 7 of the vin are: P124214

Hi,

I have the same problem with my NBT EVO unit after flash navigation greyed out, showing loading. FSC code are rejected. Carplay was flashed with future installer and still working.

Rerun Feature Installer.

Yesterday after flashing the car I’ve tried to rerun installer but didn’t work that time, couldn’t connect car with installer, car was connecting for few seconds and after connection was lost. Maybe I should let car go sleep and try again after 15-20 mins.

Anyway today connection with car was working fine, rerun installer and everything working now.
