Yes it is for the F series. I had an F series Charge Pipe from FTP so I fig it would work. It fits, but I did have to modify one of the sensors that connects to the pipe. The sensor has a 90* bend in it. I just took off the 90* cover so the wires go straight. The cover does nothing but hold the wires at a 90* angle so I was good with that. Everything else bolts right up. I have a 1st Gen B58, so I'm always looking for parts that are compatible. When I do find parts, I try to let everyone know so that we can continue to grow this platform.

Lowered on H&R sport springs for now. Picked them up from Short540 for a really good price. After about another 50k or so I'm going to replace the setup with KW V3s. I just wanted to see if I would enjoy this car lowered. |

The ride isn’t bad for me personally. I would say that if you’re used to a buttery smooth ride that soaks up imperfections, then you would really feel the difference. Body roll is much better with the stiffer springs and that’s more in line with the feel that I enjoy.

The swap was extremely easy, plug and play. I have the Amazon version, not the OEM lights. These lights simply swap with the OEM lights and do not need coding. I did use OEM gutters to make sure I didn't have any leaks.

Looks great. Did you do something to the chrome on the door handles? Any close up pics of the eye lids?

I used Plastidip on the wheels to see if I liked them. I do like them black, however I hit a large pothole on the way to San Francisco and I had to have my car towed to a Les Schwab Tire Center to replace the tire. The plastidip peeled around the wheel that had the blowout so I removed it. I'm waiting for the weather to dry up to dip them again.

I got them on Amazon! I previously purchased a set from RW Carbon and they were spot on as well, however they blocked the turn signal. These have a turn signal cut out. Carbon Fiber Eyelids I hope I posted the link correctly. Last edited by 540iSUP; 03-15-2023 at 04:31 PM.. Reason: Fixed Link |
