THE PLOT THICKENS--- Added my name to the 2019 GT4 allocation list today. Dealership says average mark-up is $50,000
Visiting the owner of another Porsche dealership on Monday. He has a "used" gt3RS with under 1000 miles that he is holding for me til Wednesday. BMW Salesman says I can come in this next week to hopefully go over pricing.

Because I adore the M2!!!! I've driven 2 of them and loved both.
I might be trading a car for M2 and making payments on 1/3 of the GT3. One is for "work" (tax loophole) , other is for me. The GT3 is JUST within reach... I can and may back out. More money than anyone should spend on one car The dealer mark-up is what ruins it. 30-50k on top of MSRP makes a semi-obtainable car... non-obtainable.

part of what I really struggled with in moving away from my cayman s was to give up natural aspiration...
and yes i do miss it the crisp immediacy of throttle response the unmuted sound the feeling of control and connection turbos just are not as cracking or connected...so gt4 or even 981 s or gts over m2cs any day |
