Trunk Problem
So, I needed to get the owners manual out this morning.
Trunk will not open... by hand, key fob, or inside button. With car on, or off. Doors locked, or unlocked. Has anyone seen this issue? |

Trunk locked
I experienced the same problem last night upon returning home from grocery shopping. 30C outside, just bought ice cream, fish and several other perishables. I tried everything I could think of including the valet switch and using the key manually. Nope. Took it to my mechanic this am who got it open with my key
( no idea why my 4 tries didn’t work but his did). Getting a dash warning too that shows the trunk. Mech says it’s a fuse, broken wire, or another infamous bmw electrical problem, but will have to see later when I can make a garage appt. already have an issue with the front left signal light (socket burns out within days). They think it’s a hidden wiring issue. Frustrating to throw away many grocery items. Anyone else have this issue? Either one. |
