Here's to my first 1,000 miles on my new car! Not bad for almost 2 months of ownership! Let's hope the next thousand miles are just as fun as the first! #2019 #BMW #M550i #xDrive #Sedan #AlpinaDisplay #BimmerCode

I never thought Alpina display looked good, having seen your photo now it's probably the quality of pictures i have seen earlier. This looks great

Enjoy in good health.

Very nice - enjoy! I have about 8500 miles on mine and it just keeps getting better.

Here is a somewhat non-related question: I notice that your gas pump fuel filler indicator is white...sometimes mine shows white, and others it is red regardless of the driving mode selected...anyone know why?

Thanks, man. Not sure. Never really paid attention to that - especially since I coded the Alpina display.

Thanks man. Sport mode looks even better. Pardon the photo being a little out of focus.

You have to have the full digital instrument cluster (6WB) and it can be coded with BimmerCode. And thank you!

Looks great! Can't wait for my M550i to get here. I will definitely do the Alpina display; it'll go great with the Mediterranean Blue and Ivory White Nappa.

For my 2018 M550 I've noticed that many of the elements in the display and HUD turn red when it's dark outside (or when the lights turn on automatically). I always thought of this as a nice design feature as red is easier on the eyes in low light conditions.

Update: I'm still loving this car after another 1,000 miles! I had to take this one on I-45 in rush-hour traffic.

I haven't even hit 1200 miles yet (break in), guess driving only on weekend with weather not yet that warm will do that...

I've had my car since mid-January, so I'm only averaging about 600 miles per month. Working from home has its privileges!

Wow..... there's an app now that allows you to code your car yourself Holy....

I remember the days of paying people per feature to code things on the car. That was on my 2014. Can't wait to order my M550i.
