Got a local muffler shop in Denver to fab one for me - it sounds great. I didn't want to be too loud and wanted a sleeper look for my car. I do have a stage one Dinan chip on it as well, so I'm loving it.

I did my with custom resonators delete and left it connected to my stock exhaust muffler. I like the stock look and the sounds are not bad at all. Good luck with your project.

Are you doing this on a lease or do you own the vehicle? I've been thinking of a resonator delete, but am leasing and not sure I'd want to do much more.

Any computer issues?
Hi
I've been entertaining a Dinan axle back muffler system to add a moderate muscle sound to my 2020 M550i. I can't seem to acquire the Dinan system due to backlogging Im told. Im curious of how you came to eliminate the resonators & did you experience any performance issues contrary to the vehicle computer? Are you happy with the sound growl in the interior, etc. Love to hear back. Thanks |

Thats a very similar set up to what i have. I got the dinan x pipe a month back and i love it. I just had the dinan v2 chip arrive today and its being installed right now. How do you like the stage one chip? was the difference noticable? This what what my M550 sounds like right now with just the x pipe and no tune: https://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1828432 |

Removing part filter on 2021 m550i throws a cel, probably not on earlier models
