Anyone know if I'll get any codes from a muffler delete on my 2018 m550i?

My guess is no if you keep the valves, but others who have done it can confirm

How bad is traffic in Houston ? If you're stuck in traffic often, I would not cut the muffler off. One of the primary functions of a Muffler is to pass exhaust fumes out the back of the car. Without a muffler, those fumes will come up into the car if you're sitting still for awhile.
