Has anyone put this tail-pipe covers on their car? If so did the black one fade quickly?

I actually did get those awhile back - DO NOT GET THEM!!!!! They don't stay on well at all - it's just tape and of course the exhaust pipe heats up and melts the tape. I ended up getting a new set of gloss black OEM tips, looks great. These above are just garbage, trust me...

I sprayed the chrome ones gloss black...

I did the same- bought some high temp paint and sprayed them, although I did not bake them afterwards. They have held up well in the 6 or so months since I completed the project.

Thanks for this. I had bought these last summer and couldn't bring myself to put them on my car as they seem so cheap and tacky. I'll be tossing them out now. Appreciate the comments.

Hey Dobe! Been awhile. I'm done messing with my car - I have it how I like it and the lease is up in a year anyway. Might just buy the car out as i've put no miles on it in a year!
