Thanks for sharing this!

The TR4As were beautiful machines with such character. I still remember wanting a TR7 more than anything in my life. I have determined that I was born either 10 years too early or 10 years too late.

Well done MK!
Something very menacing about Darth Vader racing machines....I saw the UOP Shadow F5000 machine at Riverside Int’l Raceway in SoCal in the early 70’s....the black paint, black wheels looking like victory just standing still.

What an awesome reminder of the true intent of early era sports cars....such incredibly great lines and the red is the icing on the cake.

Your stable of machines is just breath-taking!

For best livery all time I will go with the 87 Benetton driven here by Theirry Boutsen. For pure design I will go with the 89 Ferrari. Love these lines - a damn good looking racecar.

first one comes to my mind is MP4/13..

probably one of the best Newey designs and very neat, tightly packed rear end.. actually that packing wasnt giving the Merc' engine that much room to breathe in and out..

there is a 3.0L V10 with almost 800hp engine that amazing how they squeeze in there along with all other components of the engine.. other than that colors sponsors were looking a proper race car for me back in the days.. even now it still looks cool.. and it was a nice that where tobacco sponsorship is banned.. writing on sidepods and rear wing "Mika" and "David" with the same style was fun as well..

Was with my dad at the last F1 GP at Brands and at the start Lafitte went into barrier right in front of me breaking both legs. That car was almost a death trap with the driver right up to the titchy front nose .

MBM - you win!
Totally agree - the best livery ever was the multi-color Benetton....and just love the colors angled sloping towards the rear of the car - making the machine look like it's achieved 200 MPH just sitting there.

And the Ferrari - it simply screams ultimate racing machine.

Agreed - the most radical shape/design goes to this Brabham....it looks like a dart or an arrow....so innovative and so stylistic.

BGP001 - Simple and clean; the story behind the car and the title year makes this an instant classic for me.

MP4-27 - Mclaren Mercedes with Vodaphone livery. I thinks it's another modern classic and the last of the pretty designs before the terrible noses and halo.

FW38 - Because MARTINI

Guys...keep them coming! This is fantastic!!

So many great cars I forgot about.

And I love any Ferrari with the Barcode on the rear wings. The ultimate FU to the controlling authorities. I don't condone cigarette smoking but I do believe in individual responsibility.
