Beware of user: WoodyBMW

All, please be aware of user WoodyBMW. This guy has 5 posts max and is looking to scam. Many months ago I create a WTB post in the classifieds for a Dinan exhaust. He private messaged me saying he has one. After many months of back and forth I am glad I investigated him further as he does not have anything for sale. The pics he sent me are from other users on this forum who have installed the exhaust. I basically did a google pic search on what he sent me for pics and found the threads in this board. Glad I am not out any money but maybe the admins can flag this user.

Same thing happened to me with a user named CivilsBMW. You have to be careful.

Same thing with how I caught it. Using images from other posts or forums.

That's why I would only pay via PayPal merchandise. If you don't receive the item, you get refunded. I always make sure the user is verified. You can even request the seller send you a PP invoice. I will not do a deal using any other method of payment.

Glad that you avoided a train wreck though.

True on the PayPal. It was a red flag for me when he kept asking me to send the money via Zelle.
