Hi

You need the extra antenna and loom, your car must have parking assistant plus and you will need to purchase a new display key with the relevant button.

Your current display key will not work.

Hi hope someone can still help on this thread
So I have started the retrofit and installed antenna
Wired it to BDC pins 1-12 and 2-30 also got the new key from bmw coded to my vin with park button but when I code it I’m having a really werid problem where both my keys stop working and have to be held to steering wheel for the car to recognise it. Please can someone help?? My car has all the required options DAP PAP CA auto trans etc.

Yeah. True. But it’s absolutely not working and is really annoying iv spent hours trying to recode the key etc but nothing works. But as soon as I remove RCP from the car keys work perfectly normally do you know if it’s something to do with the BDC? But even that my car has almost every single optional extra and also had the display key from factory
