My G30 M550 was up on the dealer's lift a month ago and as these things go there wasn't an issue with the guibo or the crack wasn't noticed. Do you guys think I have a chance in hell to get the guibo replacement covered? Car has 40k miles on it and I change the oil every season every 5000mi-7000mi at the dealer and it's typically up on a lift a 4-6 times each year. I've been fortunate the car has had no issues at all since purchasing it in June 2021.

The other 6 items found on inspection are:
transfer case fluid service
front+rear diff service
coolant service
spark plug service
rear pads+rotors
headunit reset fault

The maintenance items are expected but the spark plugs seem early and I'm not sure what the headunit programming issue is at $418 to address (at check in after the key was read I had seen there was a software update available - not sure if this is the same issue since the OTA updates are free). Chatting to the service advisor tomorrow to see what can be worked out with the guibo if anything at all and any advice is appreciated!

If it’s cracked it needs replaced. It might be a DIY job—check if FCP Euro has the parts available. You can probably find a video on YouTube that shows how to do it.

thanks yeah I'll definitely look into that . Service advisor is seeing if it can still be covered under CPO warranty. Dealer pricing seems very high as well from what I've been seeing on past posts.

Mine was covered under CPO warranty. See if they'll honor that. It's not like it cracked in the last few days...
