Get ur exhaust to crackle?
Hey!
Just wondering how i get my exhaust to crackle. I got a 325i with PE rear muffler. Wondering about taking away the rear muffler completely or maybe delete the resonator? I dont really know if it will sound too much caus it is fairly loud now. But what would you recommend me to do if i want some crackles in the exhaust? Can i do anything with the cats without ruining the values of emission? regards! |

Not necessarily. There's got to be the component of some more back pressure, which some of our turbo(s) help with. I'm not too sure how to achieve that on the N52.

I think those with the full PE get the sound you want so many a resonator delete might work since you already have the PE muffler?

Wow another one
Hey OP congrats on your first 10 posts! Check out the search button up top, it's fantastic. Then you could get one of those new v6 Mustangs - not a very fast car, but they've done all they can to make it look and sound like one. Here's the website. http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/trim/v6fastback/

Here's my 328i with just the BMW PE. I've done no other changes to the exhaust.
https://youtu.be/gOENG4btWII?t=57s It crackles like no tomorrow and needless to say, I love it! |
