DIY: Remove front rubber foglight trim (non m)

Hello everyone,

I think I saw a thread when someone said that in order to remove the front rubber thing from the fog lights its only possible if you remove the bumper.

Myth busted!

You need one of those plastic trim removal tools (I used the flat one) and work your way out.
I went from air vent to bumper (left to right in the showed picture).

Part no of the rubber strip: 51117385271

Good luck!

What year is your car? That trim is very different from mine. As my trim goes around the fog lamps as well as into the air dam.

Hello,

It's a 2018, standard package.

That trim you have is a little easier to be taken out as I saw YT (I think) videos of people doing so.
