Water dripping into the boot when opening

Hi all. I recently bought a February 2017 G31. Whenever I open the boot when the car's wet, water pours/drips into the luggage space on both sides. Despite searching all the forums, I can't find anyone with the same problem. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hello, can't help as I have the same problem. Has started raining in southern California, as noted in another post. Whenever I open my trunk lid after rain to stow away briefcase, the water that has collected on truck floods downwards. The channel between the trunk and rear window bottom is too narrow, so water leaks into the trunk. Thinking of swiping off the water first before opening the trunk.
