2019 M550ix Charcoal Intake Air Filter Delete?
Couldn't find anything about this using search so thought I'd ask...
Is the North American G30 M550i factory equipped with a secondary charcoal filter in the air intake? (not the charcoal cabin air filters). Other BMW models have it in North America for emission purposes to limit vapors from coming out of the car when it is turned off. Charcoal intake air filter delete is a common mod to supposedly, slightly improve throttle response. Thanks... |

ive been thinking this as well.
and are there any intake systems out for the M550i or even high flow filters? would love to be able to hear the turbos spool up more!! |

Hmm, I don't think M550iX has it.
I open it up already when I did a downpipe, nothing is there. Just paper filter.
