Can you change MPH to show Digits in Instrument Cluster?

When I put my 2018 530i into Sport mode the speedometer changes to showing the speed in MPH in digit form like 67 or 23 or 144 etc. I would prefer to always show the speed in digit form BUT not always have the car in Sport mode.

I found the setting where I can "turn off" the instrument cluster changing between the modes of comfort, Eco and Sport, but in this mode it appears you can not customize the display. I much rather have this than gesture control!

What am I missing?

Coding the Alpina display gives you the MPH digitally in dash in adaptive and comfort modes

Thanks. I just ordered a new OBD device. My old one was not compatible with the app. For giggles I tired the procedure below. It added the advanced menu but there was nothing of interest. I got the black interior with the blue stitch. In my perfect world I would get the blue color from ECO and the MPH from Sport. Hopefully they will add this in a future software update. Digital MPH readout is table stakes in the auto industry. I would hate to know how many hours went into gesture control meanwhile you can’t customize the instrument cluster.

Call up Start (main) menu
• Push controller in up direction for at least 10 s
• Rotate controller, 3 notches to the right
• Rotate controller, 3 notches to the left
• Rotate controller, 1 notch to the right
• Rotate controller, 1 notch to the left
• Rotate controller, 1 notch to the right
• Press controller once
• The Service menu is now added as the last submenu to "Settings"

I tried it with BimmerCode and it did not work. My build does not show 6WB - I confirmed it’s a 6WA. Does this mean there is no way to get MPH in other modes?

Thanks

I figured it out. 6WA supports “Additional digital speed in speedometer.”
