Are These New Seats For the 2022 M550?
Hi,
I ran into this Youtube video to autogefuehl comparing the M550 with M5C. Notice the seats in that M550 at ~8:15 sec. They look exactly like the M5C seats but it sounds like they are leatherette, they still look good and make the car look more like an M5 but with the softer suspension! When I looked on the BMW website as I'm building the car, I couldn't find them even though the guy in the video states that these seats are only available in the US. |

No those aren't not a change for 2022. I believe they are called the "M Sport Seats." Not sure how you add them or what they cost but I've seen them in a video or two as well.

LCI introduced these sets as an option in Europe. You can get them on a 530, nothing specific to M550. They have been and are still available in Europe as an option, not in US, never been.
The LCD key was discontinued (like many other options) on the G30 LCI in US. Side note, I had that key on MY18 540, borderline useless. Good conversation piece though.
