Anyone have any amazing recipes for cornbread? I'm open to doing it on the smoker if that's even possible, the oven, whatever...just help me out with some amazing cornbread please!

Definitely don't make it in the Smoker! It'll ruin the flavor.
I may have made homemade cornbread 2 or 3 times. Honestly, there are some tasty ready made options that are sure to please.
I have tried all of these and they are all really good and simple to make :

Joekerr I won't turn down cornbread, especially Mexican cornbread; but it's a dish that I only eat when someone else has made it. When I cook, it's usually some form of grilled meat.

Cornbread is not something I have messed with yet. I like it, but I don't love it. I do have a cast iron pan that is made for cornbread and scones that I have not used yet.

I didn't bother with pictures, but I made a nice chicken marsala on Saturday night. It was my first time making it, but it turned out really good. Next time I want the thicken the sauce just a little bit more.

My wife doesn't really like garlic, so I often forego when dining. Last night as we entered Outback I said I was having a Wedge and some of her plate, to help me wash down my doubles of Templeton rye. She ordered a "shareable" sirloin. You get to order 2 cups of sauce/topping. She picked the bourbon (she doesn't even LIKE bourbon, it's just the first words out of the servers' mouth) and I got the garlic butter.

Holy mother of all things good, this could be like last year when I discovered you could use lotion on Wednesday!!!!

A world without Garlic is not a place I want to live.

Is if just raw Garlic she doesn't like? There are many things you can do with garlic to 'mellow' it.

Alas, garlic is to be feared. I did trick her once into eating a bit of roasted garlic, and she didn't go up in flames, so NOT Nosferatu.

Every now and again, especially at Italian restaurant, I get a little plate of raw garlic on the side, give her a good-night kiss, and dig in.

I'm working the Mid-Atlantic region this week so I had to get some crab cakes while in Maryland! I went to legendary Koco's Pub for a crab soup and their renowned crab cake. So fucking delicious. They'll ship cakes anyplace too!

Did Chinese 5 spice rubbed pork loin and some olive oil/sea salt roast cauliflower on the grill tonight. Wasn’t visually entertaining and forum bug makes it all load sideways so you’ll have to use your imagination. Pork loin works great with just salt, 5 spice powder and once served, some hoisin sauce drizzled on it and green onion garnish.

Last night was a pizza night.

Tonight i cut up tritip and marinated it in a “korean” style sauce.

Keep your head calm, and your grills hot!
