Hello, I am new on forum and searching one Bmw G30 2017 to buy. I have question about ambient lighting inside. On pictures and few models I looking have ambient light in two lines inside, but one model I looking have only one line on doors and dashboard. Is that some equipment or must power on in some settings or coding? Thanks for answer

Sure it's not 1 line brighter than the other?

Reason for saying is that there are 2 settings that may affect how it looks

Brightness setting - no prizes for guessing what that does.

Dim at night. This displays the lines when it is dark.

Just wondering if this set on the car you saw along with the brightness down which may make one of the lines appear to off?

Guess the other possibility is a fault although I think that's very unlikely

I didn't try to setting that down light. But asked owner and he said that don't have that light. Is that posible? He don't know to power up this or realy don't have. But question is can be that some models don't have that light. Or every have, but problem is in settings or fault? Thanks

Double check to see what that particular light selection is. It could selected "white" and may just not appear to be visible compared to using colors in other areas of the ambient light selection.

I'd visually check or ask for photos if remote.

I'd imagine the light is supposed to be there if they put the light strip there. When off it looks like a white plastic strip.
