Hello,

Wanting to remove the engine cover/shroud on my 2019 530e just to look around a bit.

You Tube gives me no answers.

I don't want to bust stuff up.

Is there a 'trick' or something I am missing to get the cover off the engine?

Click the link below to the TIS website...type in the last 7 digits of your VIN (or select accordingly by model etc)...then type “remove engine cover” into the search box. You should get multiple links that should give you the results you’re looking for:

Unclip the acoustic cover (1) from the marked areas towards the top.

{re-install}

Clip in the acoustic cover (1) into the holders in the indicated areas.
The acoustic cover (1) must audibly engage into place.
