Finally they have unlocked remote 3D view in Finland. However I have yet to see an image of my car sent to me. It just gets stuck for infinity in activating camera system part. Only if I close the app it tells me it failed. Otherwise nothing else happens. All other connected drive system is working.

Been same for me since day 1 "activating camera system fails."

Easy to check if its really enabled for your car, because when it is theres a setting to allow remote 3D view in the car's settings/idrive/privacy menu. You know, same place where you allow GPS tracking and enhanced speech recognization and the sorts.

BMW Finland tells me the service is disabled in Finland for legal reasons... which is not really 100% correct for either part, as it works in some cars (I've seen this) and there are no legal reasons.

I Am still not convinced. The website used to say not currently available but not I can't find the text.
