530/540 CO2 emissions

Are engines the same on both sides of the pond when it comes to CO2 emissions?

Best way to check is to load up the bmw website for different countries.
Uk one is bmw.co.uk

Thank you.

BMW.de shows 155-151. Bmw USA doesn't even show this information.

Oh that's odd, assumed it would have to along with other technical specs.

The wheels chosen will also have a bearing on this figure.

I have never seen CO2 measures per mile shown as part of the specs in US market cars. EPA only seem to provide those figures for hybrid and PHEVs, not regular gasoline.

That's pretty much a Europe thing.

In the US, it's printed on the Monroney sticker (aka window sticker) under Fuel Economy and Greenhouse Gas Rating.

According to it, it's rated at 371 grams of CO2 per mile. Here's a random one I found on the Penske's website. That would translate to 230.5 g/km, if you want to compare it to the ones reported by the fine folks across the pond. It seems like the US model's emission is either in fact higher (maybe looser regulations and less emission reducing scheme) or gone through a different calculation/reporting process.
