Trailer Hitch for 2019 540

Anyone know if the trailer hitches which fit the 2018 540 will also fit the 2019 540? The Curt website doesn’t identify a hitch to fit the 2019 540 but does have a hitch for the 2018 model. I need the hitch for a bicycle rack.

A G30 is still a G30. The body style has not changed from 2018 to 2019. Sounds like the website you're buying from is out of date. Shocker.

Thanks VirtualGuitars. Everyone I have spoken to assumes there is no change for 2019–which sounds right to me—but no one (including the BMW Geniuses) was 100% certain.

I'm 99.99% certain you're not going to have any problems.

Try Invisihitch. They had a model for my car, and I am contemplating having it installed for the same purpose. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, though.

When I last checked their website, about a month ago, they were in business, and even listed a local installer for their product. As I said, I am still considering doing this, but have not actually tried to purchase.

Not sure of the brands, but some of the ones I saw were not compatible with the M aerodynamic trim.

Mot hard to install. I put a hitch on my lexus for bike use. You do need a torque wrench. If you look under rear bumper, are screw holes there for a hitch.

I have been trying to reach the Invisihitch folks (the web site I found for this trade name is under Execuhitch), but without success so far.

I discovered that Stealth Hitch has a hitch that will fit the G30 (including 2019).

Just had the Stealth hitched installed on my 540. Really well made product. Nice solution if you don’t want the hitch visible when you aren’t using it.
