Dear all,

My name is Rolf and I’m new to this beautiful forum.
I tend to buy a 520i G31 tomorrow but it’s not the most luxureous one.
For my use (and budget) its more than enough but I really don’t like the fact that it doesnt even have heated seats.
I would like to explore the option to retrofit a comfort seat interior but I dont know if it is possible with the existing wiring.
The memory part of the comfort seat is operated in the door but I don’t know if the door is pre-installed with wiring for the memory function.

The button for the heated seats is not present but I would like to make use of the situation to upgrade with the G11 touchscreen climatecontrol unit.

By the time you source all the parts, modules, and get the coding figured out it will probably be cheaper to buy a car with the interior features you want.

Thanks but thats an answer I can figure out myself.
The question remains, what is needed to wire, install and code the comfortseats?

It is not possible, sadly. Until very recently, I was in a G30 m Sport with the M seats. They wound up wreaking havoc on my shoulders so I attempted to get anyone to switch them out for the multi-contour seats. I was repeatedly told it wasn’t possible due to the size, slide track, wiring, and safety feature locations (belt, bags, etc.). Couldn’t even get a custom shop to take it on. That’s why I sold it and am now between personal vehicles.

Made contact but charged 1100 euro (1200 dollar) for just the installation.
I’ve read something that I have to pull 2 additional wires to the BDC.
Anyone familiair with that?
