Do you know why? I read that in some other car is possible like old 5 mini, ecc...

Do you think that there is a mission impossible?

Do you know in which way i can set my driving assistant to run without hand?

Hardware and software limitation.

No. It is driving assistant, not replacement.

Equipment in ///M vehicles is different. It is not an age thing. No coding will enable rpm in HUD in G30.

Driving assistant is meant to assist driver, so hands must be on wheel. If it was auto-pilot and driver replacement, car would drive itself without need for hands on wheel.

Tesla is partly to be blamed for what people are trying to do with L2 semi-autonomous cars. They branded it as autopilot and now everyone assumes L2 cars are capable of driving themselves.

The auto-pilot is legal restriction.
When you remove the hand after 5 sec appear a warning and after other 20 sec the warning is red end the semi-pilot terminate.
I thinks that there is a coding for this two timeout.
In a youtube video a korean man have coded it.

It's not only a legal restriction. L2 semi-autonomous cars are only capable of operating within certain parameters. As an example, there's a maximum radius after which the autonomous system cants turn the wheels.

Once cars get to L3 like the Audi, that allows people to take their hands off completely.

There may be coding; I just have not seen it looked for it.

Doesn't mean car is capable of driving itself on a motorway without driver intervention

My understanding is that if you want rpms in the hud , you have to go out and buy a M5.
As others have said , different hardware in it.

I just saw this thread and wanted to revive it and see if there's been any change it looks like on my 2018 M550.. G30.. there is no coding option to allow rpm to be displayed in the heads up display??

It looks like on mine I can get music info I can get the driving assistance info and speed but that's about it.

Is there anything else I can put into the heads up display that I missing?

Not aware of anything else you can display up there .
Everything I'm aware of is as follows(subject to hardware fitted to the car)
Speed
Speed limit
Speed limit assist ( Green circle around speed limit)
Cruise control display
Lane assist
Check control messages
Radio stations / music track names
Telephone functions
Sat nav display

On the previous f10 if you had the 6wa cluster you could code indicators to display . Note this was not possible if you had 6wb.

Believe the full digital cluster we have is 6wb so presumably still not an option on the g30.

I still feel this is one of the best options you can buy and unlike some of the option , not gimmicky <cough gesture control>

Whilst originally only available in the 5 and 7 looking like it's now available is most cars now. Not cheap but a very good ergonomic feature.

Any complicated data in the instrument cluster is in my opinion the wrong place whilst the car is driving as your eyes are not on the road.
