Experience w/ Pirelli AS

Getting ready to replace OEM Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season 245/40/19 run flat tires on my 540 - square setup.

Has anyone replaced with non run flat all seasons? What has your experience been?

Non-runflat all seasons, I would recommend Michelin PS A/S 3+. Run these on my wife's Mercedes, and they are fantastic.

As much as I like Michelin, I've had trouble in the past with the A/S 3+ not balancing, had to have one replaced immediately and another was way out of whack but not enough to get Michelin to replace it too. The installer said that he sees this a lot with Michelin.

So when I decided to remove the RF on the G30, I went with P ZERO ALL SEASON PLUS REVISED COMPOUND X (clipped from the receipt) and they are nice. Just a smidgen quieter than the OE RF (which were new when I took them off) but a more compliant ride with no decrease in handling that I noticed in my 350 miles on the RF. Wet performance has been excellent, no snow yet. Dry performance is surprisingly good as well.

.
In all my years of running Michelin, on all my cars, I have never heard this before, nor have I ever experienced a balancing problem with new Michelin tires. Go figure?

I have had a few cars come with OE pirelli RF. I have never had good results when I compared them to PS4 I run for summers. I just had a brand new sottozero 3 winter tire bubble on a road trip. Found out that there were only 3 of those tires in the entire US according to the dealer I went to. I personally will never use RF tires if given the choice.

I have tried Pirelli, Michelin PS A/S 3+ and Continental DWS. In snow, Conti tires are the best. If I had to choose between Pirelli and Michelin, I would definitely go with Michelin.

Also, just had to replace a whole set of Pirelli on one of my cars due to bubbling. NYC streets are not the friendliest to large rim and thin sidewalls.
