Ordered: 2023 M550i
Love my '13 535i M-Sport...owned for 10 years, longer than any other car I've owned. But it's time....
Concerned about end of V-8 and the loss of traditional dash + buttons for basic controls. So pulled the trigger yesterday. Neighbor's brother is GM for dealership in next state so deal was done in a few minutes. Alpine White Mocha Nappa Leather dashboard Shadowline trim 668 Wheels w/ Non RF's + spare Ordered 1/12 I can only hope it is as reliable as the 535i has been (still on original rotors/pads/battery after 10 years !!!!!) |

Try uploading or connecting your car to your app thru vin or adding to garage. I’ve tracked that way before once it hit our port

BMW uses two primary shippers from Germany to the US. They are Wallenius Wilhelmsen and K Line. Both of those sites have posted schedules. Chances are your car will leave from Bremerhaven, Germany. If you know where BMW cars enter the US from, you can make some educated guesses re: which ship it will likely be on and estimated arrival dates. Once your car is in transit for a day or two, you can call the Genius line and they’ll be able to tell you the precise ship. When your car arrives at the port, it needs to go through customs. Additionally, if there are any recalls or stop sales on it, those will be resolved at the Vehicle Processing Center prior to being released to a carrier. It took ~5 days for my car to get to the dealer from the port. |

Nice. That must have been build week 6, so in company with the m550 I got as well.
It’s an amazing car, the engine is so quiet and refined and surprisingly not that thirsty when you’re not having fun! Enjoy Agree this was the last chance to get a non M 5 with a V8, ability to disable stop start, physical buttons, traditional al instrument cluster and round steering wheel! |
