LCI Black Grilles from Amazon/Ebay

Has anyone bought one of the non-BMW branded LCI black grilles for the G30 like this?

https://www.amazon.com/Front-Grilles...98SV5RPG&psc=1

It looks like the same grille from several vendors on Amazon/Ebay and wanted to gather if people think the quality is good compared to spending $250 on the BMW branded one from getbmwparts or likewise.

Here's the dilemma. Define good quality? Good quality to one person might be poor quality to another. Even if it passes the initial quality and fitment test, do you think this grill will hold up to the elements over time as well as the OEM grill? My bet is it will not.

If you're focused on saving $ then try it out. It's Amazon, send it back if it appears to be junk.

I bought the non-LCI version of them and they fit really well. I have no idea about the longevity of them though. The plastic seemed like it had about the same weight and flexibility of the stock grills but who knows how long the finish will last. But it’s an inexpensive experiment.

Buy it. It'll work just fine. A lot of these aftermarket replicas are pretty well made these days.

I bought a spoiler from Amazon that was great, looks perfect. I also bought some fog light trim that was garbage. Cheap plastic, finish was crap so I bought OEM and they ended up only being a few $ more expensive than the Amazon crap.
If OEM isn’t too much more it’s worth the extra money to know what your getting.

So I bought the grille I linked in the first post and received yesterday - it looks and feels exactly like the OEM grille. Same weight, plastic feel and density, etc...everything lines up correctly, same internal structure to hold the front camera, etc. Very happy with the purchase for now - I don't have any initial concerns about longevity but we'll see how it goes down the road. If I have to replace it 3 times I'm still in the clear versus buying the OEM one.

I bought a paint matched spoiler on eBay for $100. The bmw oem for the 5 series seems small, not long enough and expensive. The spoiler exceeded my expectations. So I would maybe give other items a shot if needed.

I got a grill from eBay for my M340i, and one from AliExpress for my M550i. Super cheap, perfect fit, look great. Generally speaking, these knock-offs are of good "enough" quality for the price point, and it's useful to ask around the forums which sellers they bought theirs from just to be a step ahead.

Could you post a pic of your car with it? I actually looked at this one the other night and was hesitant but $80 sounds great compared to $96 for one freaking grill.
I know we own bmw’s but I still love saving money haha
