Question Pro Launcher or E-SysX

Greetings,

I'll purchase a token system for E-Sys but which supplier is best alternative for G30 for pain free coding even after ISTA updates?

E-SysX offers lifetime subscription where ProLauncher offers only 2.5years as I understand Also I've heard that there are some problems from time to time to activate tokens

Which one should I purchase?

Also my G30's production ISTA is S15A-17-07-503 and current ISTA is S15A-19-1-534. Which version of E-SYS and PSdZData should I use to code my vehicle? And do I need 64bit version?

For further updates that may be done by dealer which token system would be more suitable for further update support?

Both are equally good, just with ProLauncher you will have Cheat codes and some things might be easier for you.

ProLauncher works fine with last Esys 3.334 and latest PzdZ data 4.21 Full and Lite. This configuration works well with latest iStep 19-11. PM me if you need help

Is there any cheat codes for G30? I thought they were only for previous cars. EsysX also supports cheat codes anyway but it doesn't support the 3.33.4

Problem is Token Master doesn't reply to his emails for a while So it doesn't look like I can order ProLauncher in the near future

I think there are no "official" cheatcode files for g-series, someone may have made their own but mostly it is combing through forums whatever you may think of changing. some codes still apply from old chassis, but may be located differently due to module changes.

I've heard that latest LauncherPRO is presenting some incorrect mappings for newest g-series, but for me all seems to be ok atleast for G30.. Atleast for me 3.33.4 is working fine coupled with EsysX, what is the problem?

Exclamation

That's why I've purchased EsysX but it has been more than 24hours and they still didn't activate my account. But they are writing messages on cartechnology.co.uk forum instead of delivering products they received payment for.....

You've purchased esysx now and you are very happy with it I believe, but for those trying to work out which to get, here is my take.

LP - infrequent updates, unreliable purchase process, slow infrequent psdzdata mappings meaning lots of trimmed codes, and now incorrect mappings. Specifically HU_MGU on G05 and other similar series. Obviously unless you know what the settings actually are you cant tell they are incorrect, but trust me the newer codes are plain wrong. Same on SAS cafd.

esysx - easier guaranteed purchase process, even if you have to wait a whole 2 days for product delivery sometimes. accurate psdzdata mappings and regular updates (at a small cost). Now supports Activation Conditions for advanced coders, same as Launcher Pro.

Only neg - the lifetime licence is misleading. its the lifetime of the first and only device you install it on, not the software or the owner. Want to move it to another device? No luck unless you fork our for the expensive dongle or purchase another licence. Just bare that in mind when purchasing.

If you own a modern idrive 7 BMW and want to code newer features the only viable option is esysx

What Psdz data are you using and what esys version?

I got my license and coded many features without any problems with 3.33.4 x64 version by using latest PSdZData

I think there are some unidentified elements in CAFD files in some ECUs or it's something not related with EsysX but I couldn't find Launch Control parameters in ESG ECU

BTW EsysX is also fixed on the computer it was installed you can not carry your license to another computer

I've used 4.20x through to current 4.22.14
esys is 3.33.4 and 3.34.1
LP 3.7, issues seen since 3.6 when TM tried to map newer psdzdata. Pestered him for this for a while so pleased he did it, but disappointed with the execution.

E.g. all the newer traffic light recognition codes are wrong (and others) in HU_MGU. Bizarrely the same/equivalent codes are correctly mapped in BDC

It includes the software and one license which is locked to the computer you first use it on via internet activation, optionally there is a offline dongle that lets you use the software on multiple computers, but it costs double. Check their website for more info.
