CBM M550 exterior mods

Just changed out the silver trim on my M550 with AutoTecknic carbon fiber pieces (which match my CF mirrors). I’m waiting on the trim pieces from IND to remove the front bumper side deflectors to match the color of my car. Debating if I should get black wheels or not - either forgestar F14’s or VMR 710’s. I do like these stock wheels but thinking could set it off more with aftermarket wheels. Also, planning to add a BMS tune in the next month or two. Let me know what you guys think and any opinions on the wheels.

NEVER get rid of your current wheels, ever! Those are the best looking wheels BMW has ever produced in my opinion, love them! And black wheels on a black car just don't do it for me, too boring.

Plastidip your wheels and then decide if you really want them black. Don't worry plastidip is easy to remove.

I like the side skirt extensions but was curious if you notice any negatives from it?

Probably the only mod left I am considering are carbon fiber side skirt extensions which I think will look good with the CF spoiler and grill. I am keeping the cerium side vents, bumper trim and mirror caps as I really like the look and think the few bits of CF compliment the Cerium well. I never saw this post before, but if kind of confirms for me to not replace the Cerium that is left. I'm just not into the blacked out look and I am definitely not replacing the 668's with black wheels or altering them.

Those are some of my favorite wheels. No way I'd change them either.

I somehow just not noticed your grill is black but the bumper trim isn't. Interesting… gives me something to consider! Though I'm not sure if that look translates as well to chrome.

The grill is easy enough to swap out. My grill was cerium gray and I changed it. They offered a black grill as an option, so I feel like I'm sticking with OEM here. I just felt the cerium trim around the grill looked really big and I felt it changed the look of the front end, like a little Lincoln ish.
