x2 bulges in the space of a few weeks

Running the below on my G30 and in the space of a few weeks both front tires have developed a small bulge on the outer wall. I’m assuming it’s happened when hitting potholes but thinking going forward if I switch to a larger profile say 40 or even 35 will that stop it happening again? Or are these particular tyres known for this issue?
I know it’s a bit unlucky but 2 tires in the space of a few weeks developing the same issue makes me think the profile, being runflat and crap roads hasn’t helped.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 3 245/35/20

I’d be interested in seeing how much larger you can go with the profile.

NAZty are you running RFT? If you are okay with carrying a spare and/or tire repair kit around, switching to non-RFT may help with sidewall bubbles and improve your ride.

Those Goodyears are complete junk. I replaced 10 front tires due to sidewall issues in 3 years. I had tire/wheel insurance, so they were all free, but finally got so sick of the headache of having to get new tires I switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 3 ZP at my own expense. (Yes, still runflats - I drive too much to not have that convenience.) Anyway, not a single tire issue in the last 2 years/40k miles since switching. Can't say enough good things about these tires. Get rid of the Goodyears!

I have heard that Goodyear Eagle F1 RFTs are not very good tyres. I drive on Michelin Pilot Sport 3 RFT for about a year. Our roads are far from glass smooth and I´ve had no problem with the tyres. Recommended.
