Car spent 11 days in "At The Port" status before it switched to "In Transit".

After a few days delay at the VPC, car was delivered to dealer on 11/18 (8 days after ship arrived ) and I picked it up on 11/21. Just shy of 10 weeks, I think the whole process has been delayed by the current events.
I really enjoyed working with Dan from Next Level Auto Brokers on this lease. He was there for me at every step and made it an effortless process. I am very happy with the "deal" and the service was exceptional. Thank you to carbo56 for the referral and to the great forum members here for their advice.

Thanks. In retrospect I wish the blue used on the calipers would have been brighter. Overall, still happy with it, since I didn't really want the red.

Also I should have probably ordered with the ceramic controls... I just thought it would be "too dark" but it would have looked pretty sweet nonetheless.

Other than that, it's probably one of the most understated sleepers around...

It's getting fairly dark tints tomorrow and then I'm attaching my BlackVue cameras and Escort radar detector. Hopefully ceramic coating by next week.

Sweet. Exact same things on my list when mine comes in (ceramic coating, tint, escort and blackvue hardwire). Plus an all season tire swap, body color painted front reflector, CF floating wheel caps, and CF roundels.

As far as I can tell, they work (meaning when the car is stationary, they're upright). I haven't made my wife drive along side me to be able to tell what they're doing when driving...

I believe the OEM ones only come in white/blue (normal BMW colors).

Aftermarket Amazon or Ebay ones I've seen in carbon fiber, as well as with lights (for which I would promptly kick my own ass if I ever had the inclination of getting...).

I did think about carbon fiber/black ones but I figured some color here or there might not be too terrible.

Just in case anyone is wondering, there's 2 sizes. You need the 56mm...

I'm going with the CF ones from Ind Distribution. They order OEM floating caps but they apply paint and CF overlay + clearcoat. I went back and forth on it, but I think it'll look pretty nice with aventurine red metallic. I'm also doing CF mirrors and spoiler from factory (port installed).

I looked at those, but I also wanted to get them for my wife's X5, so ponying up close to $200 each on center caps x2 ($400) was a little on the absurd side.

With that being said, these are not rational purchases anyway, so if it makes you happy, enjoy in good health. I'm sure it'll look pretty nice.

Yeah, I am thinking about doing the same with my dark graphite m550i when it gets here. Might do the CF roundel for the hood and trunk too.

I've been debating what dashcam to get when the new car comes. I have had a Thinkware F800 dash + rear cam for a few years hardwired into my truck. Haven't paid much attention to what cameras are the best these days. Always found Thinkware and Blackvue to be on par with one another but wondering if there's some other worthwhile players now. I'm not sure I care for the cloud features but am a big fan of the parking mode and related incident notification.

Yep! Dark Graphite here as well. This color will sit really well with CF. I did the shadow line package so really only looking to swap the diffuser over
