Reverse LED lights

Has anyone with a M550 change out the reverse lights?

I love how the LED ones look, wondering if BMW makes this for M550 or if anyone bought them from somewhere else and installed them.

Had these LED reverse lights on our F15, so much brighter and the camera looks cleaner when reversing. However, they did come stock on that car.

Was just wondering the same thing tonight! Hope you are enjoying your car. Seems like you have done a ton of mods already

Yeah that's definitely the next thing I need to look into since I can't do any engine mods for another 1000 miles.

All that time I had to wait and sit around for my car to be built and be delivered, I was buying parts for my car to keep myself from feeling the pain lol. Now I'm just slowly getting them installed.

I'm enjoying this car every single day, I'm sure your loving the hell out of your car too

These are hard because they are often longer than the standard bulb making them very difficult to get in due to its wired connection.

What I would like to advise you is to check realoem.com.... put your vin no inside and go to lighting section...check the bulb you have...... if it is not already LED look for COB type...if COB not available take SMD..... also be careful of type of the bulbs as they all look similar but have different connection on the bottom of them.... to my knowledge our bulbss are h21W BAY9s
Another thing to check is how many lumen s they are producing and the color....
5000 is white...
after you install it make sure to remove power check with carly or bimmer code so the light will not flicker (not sure if they have this option at the moment for the G series)
